Saturday 29 June Krakow Poland

We set to further explre the fabulous city of Krakow. We decided to do an hour and half tour of the city to get our bearings on all the different districts. They have little golf style carts with recorded commentry. It was a good way to get an overview.

Krakow is full of amazing buildings, dating back 800-900 yrs.

There is a Jewish Quarter as well as the old Jewish Ghetto from WWII .

The favourite area though was the main square, and we kept gravitating back to the area, although t seemed like every street led to the square.

I will include a selection of photographs so you can get an idea of the amazing architecture.

Sunday 30 June.

Left krakow this morning bound for Olomouc on the way to Prague. It was a little showery for much of the trip, but once we arrived at Olomouc, the sun came out so we cold walk around the old town. Olomouc like many of these cities has a central square with buildings around, dating backt to 1300's.

Some of the churches are fantastic architectural examples. We went to St Wenceslas Cathedrall and then contued to the main square etc.

All very impressive and the best part- not loads of tourists.
